Summary: Rooms were old no coffee pot! Absolutely no amenities!

Summary: This is literally just a place to lay down your head to rest. I found the staff super sweet and attentive, however the motel is very very basic. The sheets felt very clean, and I slept well, the shower had good pressure and towels were good. Room service was excellent. But the bathroom products were cheap quality. The lighting is all fluorescent which is down-right depressing. The AC unit was straight out of the 1970’s, old unit but it did the job. Although there was 24-hour service and there was a clerk at the front desk at all times, something about this place felt like I had to be aware of my surroundings as a single woman traveling solo. It’s right next to the highway, folks are smoking in the parking lot, and there was tons of trash in the trash container at the entrance. Not a good impression. I would upgrade and spend a bit more money for a better stay somewhere else.

Summary: Lots of parking. Room was clean except that our feet got pretty dirty when we walked around in bare feet, I don’t think floor washing happens much. Breakfast had boiled eggs, fruit, toast, cereal. Coffee but no cream, just milk or powdered whitener. Wafflemaker existed but wasn’t in use, probably because it wasn’t very busy on a Monday. Overall good for a short stay, would stay here again.

Summary: Overall, my stay was really good at The Corning Inn. The hotel was peacefully quiet all day and night. The only thing I wish was different was the housekeeping on my third morning. The woman never stopped knocking and yelling "housekeeping". No matter how many times I yelled "just a minute" she kept knocking and yelling. Other than that, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Summary: We needed a cheap place to stay after going to the races in Woodhull because I didn't feel like driving home. Fit my needs, was quiet, slept well, left early. Didn't really test any amenities. The only thing that bothered me was the hallway stunk, but my room didn't so who cares I guess.

Summary: Parking was easy. All the appliances (heat, hair dryer, fridge, microwave, tv) worked fine. The room was dark overall and needed another light. The room and bathroom looked shabby— broken particleboard around the sink, broken handles on the furniture. But it was clean. Towels were fresh daily. Free breakfast was really just free coffee and toast or cold cereal.
